Zwitscherbox Cherry Wood | Little House with Birdsong | Relaxound

The Zwitscherbox is a little house with birdsong that responds to movement. This version has a front in real cherry wood. Walk past and the chirping begins — two minutes long, and then it is quiet again.

Calming birdsong

A motion sensor triggers the sound of birds calling and chirping. Like a walk in the woods, it brings a moment of calm in the middle of the day. It also responds when the light goes on or off. Suitable for any room at home or in the office — in the hall, the bathroom, and above all it is a success in the toilet.

A front in real wood

The front is made of real cherry wood, not veneer or a printed wood effect. The grain runs differently on every one, so no two Zwitscherboxes are quite alike. Cherry has a warm reddish-brown glow that deepens over the years.

1% for the planet

1% for the planet asks companies to contribute to protecting the environment. Relaxound donates 1% of its annual turnover to two environmental organisations. In Germany that is the Bergwaldprojekt, which works to preserve and care for the forest. In India, where the production facility is based, part of the donation goes to Sadhana Forest: an ecological project that refills groundwater reservoirs so that food can be grown and villagers do not have to move to the urban slums.
