Oceanbox Vintage Wood | Sea Sounds | Relaxound

The Oceanbox is a round sound box with the sound of the sea that responds to movement. This version has a front in recycled wood with a vintage look. Walk past and you hear the surf and the calls of seagulls — a hundred seconds long, and then it is quiet again.

The sound of the sea

A motion sensor triggers the sound. There are two different recordings inside, each a hundred seconds long, so it does not sound the same every time. The sensor also responds when the light goes on or off. Suitable for the bathroom, the living room, a desk or a balcony.

A front in recycled wood

The front is made of 100% recycled wood, crafted by hand by a wood manufacturer in Thuringia who makes them exclusively for Relaxound. The weathered look recalls ship planks and driftwood. Because each front is assembled from different offcuts, no two Oceanboxes are alike.

From the same range as the Zwitscherbox

The Oceanbox comes from the same range as the Zwitscherbox by Relaxound, which plays birdsong. Where the Zwitscherbox is a little house, the Oceanbox is round. Both use the same motion sensor, and many people combine them: the wood in the hallway, the sea in the bathroom.

1% for the planet

1% for the planet asks companies to contribute to protecting the environment. Relaxound donates 1% of its annual turnover to two environmental organisations. In Germany that is the Bergwaldprojekt, which works to preserve and care for the forest. In India, where the production facility is based, part of the donation goes to Sadhana Forest: an ecological project that refills groundwater reservoirs so that food can be grown and villagers do not have to move to the urban slums. We aim to deliver your order quickly. Orders placed on weekdays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day, unless otherwise stated. Sometimes delivery may be delayed, for example if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible and you can cancel if you wish.

Within the Netherlands, shipping is free from €49,-, otherwise it costs €4,95. Returns cost €3,95. In Belgium and Germany, shipping is free from €69,-, otherwise it costs €4,95, and returns cost €4,95.

Returns within the Netherlands cost €3.95. You can cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason via the email from our shipping partner Sendcloud. This email contains a link to the return portal, where you can create a return label.
After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product at a PostNL point. You will receive the full order amount back, excluding any shipping costs to the customer. The product must be returned with all accessories and, if possible, in its original condition and packaging. We will refund the amount within 14 days of receiving the return shipment. For other European countries, a return fee applies, calculated via the Sendcloud link.
